The Koloss is a spire of rust and bone, a stacked necropolis of industry and faith. Its shadow cuts the scablands into jagged hours. Inside: resin-choked tombs, liturgical engines, and scavenger-cults chewing the last meat off a dying world.

Citadell Borg is a third-party, unofficial, fully-compatible Mörk Borg RPG. Drop this towering, industrial hell-prison into your Mörk Borg campaign, or crack it open and feed its pieces into any rules-light OSR-adjacent game.

Inside the Spire

The Koloss is divided into nine distinct layers, each a complete adventure environment with its own factions, hazards, and secrets. Run them in order as a full campaign, or rip out individual layers for your existing world.

  • Layer I – The Pilgrim’s Teeth: Wind-scoured ramps, hanging shrines, and the broken jaws of the outer gates.
  • Layer II – The Red Maze: Stained corridors, butcher-priests, sluice-altars, and bone channels.
  • Layer III – The Resin Tombs: Amber-still saints, preserved sinners, and captive liturgical engines.
  • Layer IV – The Chain-Galleries: Suspended walkways, cargo-gantries, and dangling reliquaries swinging over the dark.
  • Layer V – The Furnace Choirs: Heat-warped chapels, chanting stokers, and hymnals written in smoke and slag.
  • Layer VI – The Scrap-Sanctorum: Scavenger-priests, reliquary junkyards, and shrines assembled from sacred refuse.
  • Layer VII – The Wórm Catacombs: Twisting ossuaries, burrowing machine-wórms, and bone-tunnels that aren’t quite dead.
  • Layer VIII – The Saint-Engines: Bound titans of metal and meat, wired into liturgical control-thrones.
  • Layer IX – The Apex Reliquary: The highest sanctum, secret rites, royal dead, and the failing heart of the Koloss.

Each layer includes:

  • Room-by-room keys with strong prompts, ready to run at the table.
  • Factions and tensions that shift as the scvm interfere.
  • Random tables for encounters, debris, rumours, and desperate locals.
  • Hooks and escalations to drag the group up, down, or out into the scablands.
